Intel, Fujitsu, Proxim, Nokia, Airspan Networks, Alvarion Ltd, Aperto Networks,
Ensemble Communications Inc, OFDM Forum and Wi-LAN Inc., have joined together
to found the WiMax Forum, a non-profit association aimed at supporting 802.16,
a new high-speed wireless internet standard that allows connections over a 50km
range.
