Saint Patrick's Scottsdale Employment Ministry is an Employment Support Group (ESG) associated with St. Patrick's Catholic Community (Church) in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The mission of this group is:

To provide support and direction to each job seeker.

To be recognized as a staffing resource.

To live the St. Patrick's vision of hospitality and caring by treating job seekers with dignity and creating a community group open to ALL.

St Patrick’s has formed the Employment Support Group, a new Ministry designed to give hope and encouragement to job seekers. This new Ministry provides networking with other job seekers and a forum for sharing ideas. We have also been able to provide advice from outside speakers on such things as how to organize your career search, how to write resumes, interviewing tips and how to work with recruiters.

The Ministry is not an outplacement or job placement forum. If someone has an immediate need for work, the ministry cannot provide a solution. From time to time the ministry receives information about part-time jobs and we provide these opportunities to the group for those in need of more immediate income. Permanent jobs that come to us are stored on the web site: http://www.arizonahasjobs.com/ . While the web site link is labeled “Employer – St. Patrick’s Catholic Community,” obviously the church and the Ministry are not employers. To apply for a listed job, a candidate must apply to the advertising employer. This can be done directly through the web site.

Support group meetings are held biweekly on Thursdays, at 9:00 AM in St. Patrick’s Church, 10815 N. 84 Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85260 (located one block north of Shea Boulevard). Evening meetings are held biweekly on Wednesdays, at 7 PM. All are welcome – not just members of St. Patrick’s Catholic Community. At the current time, we have members from more than 20 other churches in the valley
