SALEM, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 2003-- GE Supra, a division of GE Interlogix, today announced that Intermountain Multiple Listing Service real estate agents are now able to use mobile phones to open KeyBoxes and access advanced information services in the Boise, Idaho region.
By licensing GE Supra's eKEY software, agents can use specific models of mobile phones to access and program KeyBoxes, search and locate MLS listings and contact fellow real estate agents. This integration increases real estate agent productivity and enables the agent to provide superior service to their clients.
Typically, real estate agents who want to provide this service level to their clients must carry three separate devices: an electronic key to access their KeyBox System, a cell phone and a handheld computer to manage contacts and listing data. GE Supra's eKEY Mobile Phone Edition now enables the agent to carry a single 'all-in-one' device that seamlessly marries information and phone features.
For instance, real estate agents can now dial the phone number on a listing simply by a tapping a button. Integration has eliminated the need to look at a listing on a PDA and then dial a number on a cell phone.

The eKEY software also automates this process so that the agent is not required to initiate the communication. Agents no longer have to go to their home or office to make a physical modem connection.
The eKEY Mobile Phone Edition is one of several electronic key options for real estate agents. Real estate agents can also elect to use a PDA or a proprietary electronic key, called the DisplayKey, that GE Supra manufactures.
