KTVK-News Channel 3/ˇMás! Arizona is accepting applications for the position of Full-Time Photographer.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum two years experience as a photographer at a commercial television station. Must be able to edit and show creativity in both shooting and editing. Microwave live experience required. Applicant must be bilingual and be able to speak, read and write in both English and Spanish.



DUTIES:

Shoot and edit for daily news and special programming. Some of the work would be under guidance of talent or producer and some done independently. May include weekends, nights, overnight. Also involves some travel.

General Assignment Reporter

KTVK-NewsChannel 3 is accepting applications for the position of General Assignment Reporter.



QUALIFICATIONS:

Three to five years general on-air reporting experience. College degree in related field preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of editing and photography skills. Excellent journalistic skills and editorial judgement. Ability to work well under pressure while meeting strong deadlines. Ability to handle stressful situations and adapt well to change as necessary to develop the story. Computer and accurate typing skills.



JOB DESCRIPTION:

Accept general reporting assignments from Assignment Editor or Producer. Cover news events by interview, observation and research. Provide story narration on or off camera.

Write or rewrite news stories provided by wire services or similar outside sources. Provide general assistance in the preparation of station newscasts. Participate as needed on in-studio interviews. Develop and maintain contact with news sources. Propose ideas for hard news stories, follow-ups, features and mini documentaries.
